Bisbee City Council Discussed Water Conservation 02-19-2008 9:30 AM (Bisbee, AZ) -- A new water conservation plan is on the agenda at tonight's Bisbee City Council meeting. The proposed amendment to the zoning code would require detailed landscaping plans be created for all developments, including exact locations of plants that would use irrigation. Development plans could be denied based on the placement of an artificial pond or fountain. It also requires residents cover their pools or spas, and forbids sprinklers for grass except on common areas. Residents will have the chance to speak their minds about the plan tonight.
