Note that the neighborhood basins are designed to capture stormwater from the streets.

Channel between road and subdivision have one-rock catchment dams to slow the water for infiltration.

 

 

Note the two sites suitable for dry wells—there is some flow, but not enough to silt up. Gravel, river rocks and a native grass all act as a filter.
